In 2018, Friboi launched its own certification program. Certified by a third-party body, the program attests to compliance with strict criteria that guarantee the origin and safety of the food.

The Guarantee of Origin Program certification meets the requirements of rigorous protocols in areas such as sustainability, animal origin, animal welfare, quality, and traceability.

The program is recognized by the BRCGS (Brand Reputation and Compliance Global Standard) and the European Union Traceability Regulation.

The Guarantee of Origin protocol is analyzed and revised annually, ensuring its updating and adherence to best market practices. All active Friboi slaughtering units in Brazil operate in accordance with the protocol. Currently, Friboi is already working on expanding it to units that produce
prepared foods.

On the platform, it is possible to consult the communication of items related to Socio-environmental Compliance, food safety, and traceability. In this way, partners can verify, in an integrated manner, the adherence of their supply chain to the Responsible Purchasing Policy.
